We have ordered an action Service (kottu) from Auslanka. The worst service and customer service ever. We have ordered an action service 15th of May and it was great and then we ordered on 20th December again for a very special family occasion and we have received the worst service ever. We have paid for a 15 pax ((10pax)$265 + Rs24500(extra 5pax)). All together it was about Rs.73,000. We wouldn’t mind paying any amount if the service was great (same as the last time) even though according to most people it was very expensive. As this was only kottu and hoppers service my parents ordered rice and devel from another place. We have had 23 people all together.
Food was served in plastic containers, it was a shock as the last time it was served in proper catering dishes. Decorations of the service area was not great compared to the last time. Quality of the food was bad, and the biggest shock was in their menu they had CHICKEN CURRY and the service people plus the Dan (who is a co owner of Auslanka) confirmed they have served only chicken gravy and not a chicken curry. Disappointment got worse when Dan Perera (who mentioned him as a co owner who lives in Australia) refused to listen to what I had to say even though he gave us a call right after the complaint was logged. I admire how he trust his staff in Sri Lankan staff but he should at least listen to what we had to say as we were comparing the first service to this but he was completely ignoring what I had to say and disagreeing with everything and was completely putting it as it’s our own fault, I am not asking any money back at all and was completely being honest with what we had to say as hoping they will make some changes but it’s clear he wouldn’t. We wanted a method we can trust and send our loved one back home some nice surprises and Auslanka completely lost that trust. We would never make any more bookings with these guys, it’s really unfortunate that Auslanka had to ruin that trust.
